2005

Story of the Storytellers

It all started from a conversation among 4 friends, fueled by a single question: Why is the world so ugly and purposeless? With a belief that profit without purpose is detrimental, we embarked on a mission to fight against ugliness in all aspects, uniting art and function in our endeavors.

2005 - 2011

After years of working in renowned design and advertising firms, we knew it was time. Our passion and desire for creative freedom led us to start Headless Hippies—a place where good story telling thrives.

Are we living in an ugly world?

We looked at the world around us and questioned its aesthetics. Mediocre designs devoid of mindfulness prevailed. It was a moment of realization. Inspired by Kahlil Gibran’s words, “Work is love made visible,” we knew it was time to start making a difference. Headless Hippies was born, driven by a deep love for art and design together in a world that craves it.

The fight against Ugliness

The path ahead was not easy, but we were fueled by a profound conviction. Inspired by the words of Massimo Vignelli, who said, “The life of a designer is a life of fight. A fight against ugliness.” With this mantra, we embarked on a mission to combat mediocrity and infuse the world with beauty through our creative approach.

2012

Why Headless Hippies?

Breaking free from inhibitions is the key to challenging outdated conventions. Thats why the name Headless Hippies. Our van represents the journey, where we listen to clients’ stories, share narratives, and forge meaningful connections. Together, we embark on a transformative journey, unlocking the power of storytelling.

We are more from the heart and less from the head.

Our motto reflects our belief in the power of creativity and intuition. While we value knowledge and strategy, we understand that true innovation and impact come from a place of passion and emotion. We bring a human touch to our design process, creating designs that resonate with people on a deeper level.

2016

As artists we started learning from nature.

Nature is our master. Through biomimicry (mimicing from nature), we create visually captivating and sustainable designs by harnessing nature’s patterns, behaviours and wisdom to tell compelling brand stories. Our authentic narratives resonate with clients’ audiences that help brands come closer to people everyday.

We believe that every brand has a unique story to tell. Through our workshops and design thinking approach, we uncover these stories and amplify them to those who are waiting to hear brand story.

2021

We became collaborative like bees

To elevate our capabilities, we forged collaborations with industry experts for key roles. By partnering with the right individuals for each job, we harnessed their expertise to create a greater impact in our work.

Our model of work – The Bounty

Our employees work on a performance-based model where project profits are shared among those involved in bringing the brand story to life. We believe in fair compensation and share the excess profits with our dedicated team members who contribute to the success of each project. Together, we create a rewarding environment where everyone is motivated to excel and share in the achievements of our collective storytelling.
